Mark your calendar: September 15 is sneaking up fast. 🗓️⚠️
If you’re running a small business, mid-September isn't just the shift to fall—it's one of the most critical tax dates of the entire year.
Two major deadlines land on September 15:
1️⃣ Q3 Estimated Tax Payments: If your business is profitable, the IRS expects your third-quarter estimated payment by this date to avoid underpayment penalties.
2️⃣ S-Corp Tax Returns (Extension Deadline): If you filed an extension back in March, your corporate return is due right now. (Spoiler: It is not pushed out to October with personal returns!)
Missing these dates triggers stacking penalties, interest, and—in the case of S-Corps—fines that can add up to $220 per shareholder per month.
Don't let the IRS catch you off guard. Need help getting your numbers squared away before the 15th? Send us a DM or book a call via the link in our bio!
